My name is Claire Bennete, and I am the owner of Matilda Mae. I started the store 13 years ago because I have always loved fashion and enjoyed helping people find something lovely to wear. What began as a small idea slowly grew into the store you see today. From the beginning, I wanted Matilda Mae to feel friendly, personal and easy to shop from. I believe fashion does not need to be complicated to look beautiful. Sometimes a simple dress, a comfortable pair of shoes or a lovely blouse is all you need. Even after all these years, I still enjoy choosing pieces and speaking with our customers every day.

Every item should be practical, easy to combine and suitable for more than one occasion. We also try to make shopping clear by providing helpful information about sizing, delivery and returns.
